Safe and Healthy Music Teaching Introductory Sessions

Safe and Healthy Music Teaching Introductory Sessions

Join our Training Director Greg Holdaway to explore the BodyMinded Alexander Technique and outline the learning opportunities available in our new series, developed especially for Music Teachers.

The sessions will be live, interactive, and 90-minutes in duration to ensure you can actively engage with the learning, ask questions, and gain a thorough insight into Safe and Healthy Music Teaching.

The series is suitable for teachers who want to help their students have less strain and tension, and better understand balance, poise, and instrument support in order to play with ease.

See below for a sneak peek of the subjects on offer across 2022 school terms:

Term 1 – Moving well to teach well.*

Term 2 – Teaching body awareness to prevent injuries in music.

Term 3 – Performance anxiety, helping your students.

Term 4 – Constructive language for music teaching.

*Our pilot series for Moving Well to Teach Well, available in Term 4, 2021, will be open to expressions of interest soon.

To learn more, book into one of our introductory sessions available this July.
